The future of FlowPow
Hello dear hemp friends,
A lot has happened in the last month and we don't want to keep it from you.
Firstly, we were at trade fairs again this year, such as the Cannafair in Düsseldorf at the end of August or the CB Expo in Dortmund in mid-September, and were inspired by new products. In the future, we also plan to offer smoking supplies, including rolling papers, blunt wraps, activated carbon filters, grinders, rolling mats and more. We haven't made a decision about suppliers yet and will try, as always, to offer you the best products at the most attractive prices.
The other is about the FlowPow product portfolio in general. We have made the decision to soon focus the company on non-psychoactive cannabinoids and mainly on cannabinoids that have been researched for a long time. CBD will play a major role in this and the portfolio of flowers and hash in this area will be expanded more extensively.
We are not into playing cat and mouse with the authorities and there is not much time left before the next cannabinoids such as 10-OH-HHC and 10-OH-HHCP are banned. On the other hand, we have no way of offering you any other payment options as long as we trade in psychoactive substances in our shop. We may also consider opening a separate shop that only trades in legal highs. But that would be a long way in the future and is not our focus at the moment.
Another point that has prompted us to do this is the future change brought about by the Industrial Hemp Liberalization Act (NLG), which is expected to come into force at the end of the year. Then the intoxication clause will be removed, which meant that every retailer was previously at risk of being sued by the state. It was previously assumed that potential customers could get high with products containing up to 0.2% THC if they consumed enough of them. In theory it is possible, but unrealistic and completely unrealistic. On the other hand, the law will adjust the THC limit for CBD products to the European level of 0.3% THC and CBD flowers and other smoking products will probably be treated as a tobacco substitute like vape liquid from then on. In Germany, the limit of 0.2% THC still applies to cannabis products on the market. Regardless of what some shops say to the contrary on the Internet. Time will tell to what extent tax stamps and warnings on the packaging will then be necessary.
With the focus on CBD, we also thought about seeds from various seed banks that mainly produce non-psychoactive cannabis. We don't want to be the next dealer who only offers seeds from one seed bank, and there are already enough special dealers on the market who have seeds from all possible seed banks available. That's why we find the idea of specializing in seeds that don't have ever-increasing THC levels very interesting and are curious to hear your opinions on this.
As part of the restructuring, a Christmas sale will start shortly. As always, we will keep you updated here and in the next newsletter at the beginning of November.
Best regards
The FlowPow Team
