Cannabinoid ban
As some of you have probably noticed, some items have disappeared from our shop. This is related to the fifth regulation amending the appendix to the New Psychoactive Substances Act. We explain what this means exactly and what changes it will bring in the following article.
What is the New Psychoactive Substances Act?
The New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG) is a German law that came into force on November 26, 2016 to combat the spread of new psychoactive substances (NPS) and protect the health of the population.
It aims to regulate the handling of new psychoactive substances outside the scope of the Narcotics Act (BtMG) and the Medicines Act. In contrast to the individual substance approach of the BtMG, the NpSG prohibits entire groups of substances. This makes it possible to take more effective action against the rapid development of new chemical variants.
The law can prohibit the trade, placing on the market, manufacture, import, export and transit, acquisition, possession and administration of NPS. Recognized uses for commercial, industrial or scientific purposes are exempt from the bans. Medicines and narcotics are also not covered by the NpSG.
What was prohibited by the 5th Ordinance of the NpSG?
In addition to the expansion of the substance groups of benzodiazepines and tryptamines, the substance groups of cannabimimetics have been expanded. These include the following semi-synthetic cannabinoids from our shop:
- HHC-O
- HHC-P
- HHC PO
- THCP
- THCP-O
- THCV
What does the ban mean?
In principle, the regulation prohibits the manufacture and sale of the substance groups. The possession and consumption of the substances are exempt from the ban. So you can continue to consume everything without having to worry about it. However, the ban forced us to remove the products in question from the shop and we can no longer sell them to you.
What happens to the remaining inventory?
We were able to sell a lot of things at short notice. But some of them are still in our warehouse and will soon be given away to you as part of a promotion. We will soon be launching our newsletter and promoting them vigorously on social media. To make sure you don't miss anything, you should follow us on the relevant channels.
Will there be substitute products that have a psychoactive effect?
Yes, there will definitely be. You will soon be able to find them in our shop under the names 10-OH-HHC and 10-OH-HHCP. A separate article on the new cannabinoids will follow shortly.
